We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee projects within our Translation & Localization department. This role is responsible for managing the operational aspects of translation projects, ensuring timely delivery, high quality, and alignment with internal processes and client expectations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing translation or localization projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement.

Essential Functions

  • Lead end-to-end management of translation and localization projects, from planning through final delivery.
  • Create, track, and report on project timelines, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate efforts of internal teams (linguists, quality reviewers, DTP specialists, tech support) and external vendors.
  •  Ensure adherence to quality standards, linguistic guidelines, and client-specific requirements.
  • Monitor project scope, budget, and deliverables, handling invoicing and financial tracking.
  • Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding translation project updates and escalations.
  • Identify and resolve project-related issues and risks proactively.
  • Contribute to proposal development and client presentations when necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and operational efficiencies.
  • Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of junior team members in the translation function.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal SOPs, policies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Translation, Linguistics, Project Management, Communications, or related fields.
 Experience managing translation and/or localization projects.
Familiarity with CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ) and translation management systems is highly preferred.
Strong organizational and project tracking skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to manage client relationships and cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office; experience with reporting tools is a plus.
Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
