The Global OTC Process Owner - will provide ongoing process and managerial leadership for IQVIA’ OTC function.

OTC GPO will be responsible:

  •  for design of OTC function strategy
  • for continuous improvement of OTC function including automation and robotics projects
  • to provide ongoing leadership and process guidance for OTC function
  • for oversight of OTC function located in several IQVIA locations
  • to manage performance to targeted Global Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • to integrate finance processes of new acquisitions
  • for implementing relevant ERP systems
  • will require extensive and effective communication across functions and with business unit financial management, including the Corporate Controller, VP of Shared Services, Global and Regional Business unit heads and financial personnel in our local operations
  • will work closely with teams across the shared services organization and in the business lines to identify and implement opportunities for efficiencies (including the ERP IT team);

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional management (operations, sales, etc.) and senior finance management; fluent ENGLISH
  • High sense of urgency and ability to identify creative solutions to advanced, time sensitive problems by balancing achievement of process objectives with practical considerations;
  • Strong customer service focus, with a drive to ensure that we exceed the expectations of our customers;
  • High degree of organizational agility, able to handle sensitive issues with prudent discretion across all levels of the organization;
  • Strong ability to implement best practices in back office operations; commitment to driving competitive advantage while managing costs, improving quality, and managing risks;
  • Commitment to delivering quality results and overcoming obstacles and challenges in a time-sensitive environment;
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple work streams while remaining calm and effective under pressure;
  • Flexibility – international travel will be required.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or Chartered Accountant certification or other similar qualification;

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in OTC area and process management, including 5 years of experience in a shared service center leadership role;
  • Prior experience in managing of managers required;
  • Knowledge of financial systems skills and reporting tools (experience with SAP, Oracle and PeopleSoft a plus);
  • Services industry, CRO or Pharmaceutical experience a plus;
  • Prior experience with automation, robotics a plus;
  • Prior international working experience a plus.

REMUNERATION PACKAGE 

Min salary: 3700 EUR gross/month (based on experience)
