Role Purpose
The Associate Director, Sales is responsible for leading the Sales team to achieve financial goals through revenues generation with accounts based in Hungary.
Drives business opportunities across the whole IQVIA offering portfolio for clients, providing the expertise and sales leadership to identify & qualify revenue opportunities, proactively manages the selling process, and closes the deal in both existing and new accounts for Hungary.
Principal Accountabilities
Achieves financial goals through a consultative selling approach that solves client business issues.
Interfaces with customer at all levels, managing the overall relationship to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and focusing on developing and improving relationships with key executives and decision-makers within assigned accounts.
Anticipates clients’ needs and, in collaboration with other departments (mainly Consulting, Technology and Marketing) develops and presents proposed solutions to client's complex business issues
Develops and executes account plan(s) and monitors progress.
Has leadership responsibility within the Sales organization and directly manages the team (3 people), assigning accounts/territories and associated revenue goals to team.
Creates and presents client proposals that result in winning sales also leveraging internal resources, functions and BU and global network to better position IQVIA capabilities & solutions to customers. May proactively work within global and regional account/sales management in the pursuit of high profile business.
Monitors delivery, implementation, and customer satisfaction. As required, may lead negotiations in renewing contracts within assigned accounts.
Gathers market and client intelligence and provides strategic feedback to Marketing, Consulting, Service, and Sales to strengthen the offerings and capture additional business.
Ensures that sales team is fully staffed, trained and deployed to maximize sales coverage.
Is considered subject matter expert for market, offerings, services and their applications within client organizations.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, TECHNICAL AND PERSONAL SKILLLS
Essential qualifications and experience
BA or BSc preferably in Economics
Solid and extensive commercial experience (10+ years) gained either within pharma industry, preferably in Rx business, or in B2B sales (e.g. in Techonology or Market Research space) with responsibility for managing complex deals with clients
Clear and demonstrable experience of winning new business from new and existing accounts and achieving revenue & customer satisfaction targets.
